These general terms and conditions of sale are agreed between Duality Projects, with registered office at Rua da Cabreira, nº219, Barca-Maia, 4475-012, with NIPC 515670804, referred to as "Duality Projetos" and persons who make purchases through the Duality - Website., the User must always be a non-trading natural person.

Purchases made through this website are governed solely by these general conditions of sale, to the exclusion of any conditions previously available on the website or by prior express written agreement.

Duality may occasionally modify provisions of its general conditions, so the User should re-read them each time they visit the Duality website.
The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale is to provide and define the information necessary for the user and regulate all the steps required to place an order.

The prices and characteristics of the items are subject to change without prior notice.

The colors of the images of the items shown in the online store may not correspond entirely to reality, as they are conditioned by the computer equipment on which they are viewed.

Items that show accessories and add-ons in the images are not included, they are merely indicative, only what appears in the description is included.

The price of each item shown does not include delivery and assembly services, unless otherwise stated. We can provide an assembly service for furniture items for an extra fee. All prices shown include VAT at 23%.




To place your order on our website, simply:

  • Select the product(s) and add to the shopping cart;
  • To finish adding the products, click on "Checkout";
  • Enter your details or register;
  • Follow all the steps until the process is complete;
  • Once your order has been finalized, you will receive an email confirming your order;
  • Whenever there are changes in the status of your order, you will receive an email informing you.

The placing of an order by the User represents full and complete acceptance of the prices and description of the products available for sale as well as the general conditions.

Duality respects order deadlines as long as stock is available. In the event of stock not being available, Duality will contact the customer by e-mail or telephone to inform them of the new delivery time for the product.

If the customer does not agree with the delivery time, they can choose to buy another item or have the amount paid refunded.




Duality offers users the following payment methods:

Multibanco reference - Once the order has been validated, you will receive an email with the multibanco reference for payment. You have 72 hours to pay, otherwise the order will be canceled. Your order will only be processed once payment has been confirmed.

Bank Transfer - Once your order has been validated, you will receive an email with the details you need to make the transfer. You have 72 hours to make the transfer, otherwise the order will be canceled. Your order will only be processed once payment has been received in our account or proof of transfer has been sent.

MBWay / Paypal / Credit Card - Once the order has been validated, you will be sent back to enter your Paypal or Credit Card account details and make the purchase.

Duality will make every effort to guarantee the utmost confidentiality and security of data transmitted via the Internet.




Mainland Portugal: Between 3 and 5 working days

Items out of stock and subject to order from the supplier may vary between 2 and 5 weeks.




Our partner for sending orders will be the company Torrestir. Deliveries will be made on working days during working hours, so delivery times do not include weekends or public holidays.

Delayed delivery within the period stipulated in the purchase process does not entitle the recipient to compensation. Orders will be delivered to the recipient's address.

We cannot be held responsible if delivery does not take place due to incorrect completion of the order details.

The customer must guarantee the minimum delivery conditions. We cannot be held responsible if the location is difficult to access and requires special transportation, such as cranes, external elevators, winches, etc.

For orders over €75 (valid for mainland Portugal) the shipping costs will be borne by Duality.




If there are any anomalies with your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Customers have 3 days after the day of delivery to make a complaint. Items damaged during transportation will be returned by courier at no cost to the customer.


For distance purchases (online and to be received at the address via courier), Portuguese law gives the consumer a period of 14 days (called the cooling-off period) in which the customer can return one or more items, without the need to give a reason, regardless of whether the item is faulty or not. At Duality we accept exchanges and returns after 30 days of sale.

In these cases (free termination of contract), the cost of returning the item is borne by the consumer, as stipulated in Article 13(2) of Decree-Law 24/2014 of February 14.

The refund will be made by a payment method to be agreed.

The refund will be made within a maximum of 14 days from the date of receipt of the product at the store/warehouse.

Although returns/exchanges are accepted within 30 days (as described above), returned goods will only be accepted if they meet the following conditions:

  • The returned item must be intact and without any marks or damage from use;
  • You must return the item with its packaging, manuals and accessories in pristine condition;
  • Along with the returned goods, you will need to enclose the invoice for the same item.

If any of these points are breached, we will not be able to accept the return (and consequent refund) or exchange.
Before returning/exchanging the item, please contact us for confirmation, otherwise we will not accept the return/exchange. The cost of return/exchange postage is always the responsibility of the consumer.




Assembly price 30€/hour + travel. VAT at the legal rate is added to these values. Prices vary depending on the assembly time for each piece.
